Upper Canada acquires Danielle Exclusive Creations in the UK
Jan 2010 Upper Canada Soap and Candle Makers Corporation, located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada is pleased to announce the acquisition of Danielle Exclusive Creations, located in Brentwood, Essex, UK. The merger of these two companies will grow the Danielle range in UK, Europe and North America. Upper Canada Soap’s leading range of natural toiletry products will now be available in the UK, distributed through Danielle.
Canadian based, Upper Canada Soap has been trading for over 40 years and is one of the largest personal care companies in Canada with over a dozen bath and body lines. The company also owns and distributes the Danielle brand of cosmetic bags and vanity mirrors within the North American market through the gift, department store, specialty and beauty retail channels.
Danielle Exclusive Creations is the brand leader in the UK and Europe for cosmetic and toiletry bags and cosmetic mirrors. For over 30 years, the company has successfully distributed a high quality range of products through independent and group pharmacies, garden centres and department stores in the UK and Europe.

All members of the Danielle UK staff including John Grant and Brian Halstead will remain with the company.
